My second visit to Rice’s Market as their seasonal photographer was better than the first one. Don’t get me wrong, the first time turned out great but it was overcast with storms threatening me every moment. This time around it was an 82 degree day in October. The power of THE GOOGLE put me in touch with Lauren at Rice’s Market. They have been working on getting their new site looking snazzy and happened to find landscapes I did at Rice’s back in early February 2013. That’s search optimization, kiddies!
Lauren asked if I could come out and capture a day in the life of Rice’s Market. All of the sights to be had from a variety of vendors and customers that flood the field each week. Rice’s also encourages people to bring their dogs. What a great day! I finished off the afternoon by having a chili dog on a sunny bench next to their concession barn. No photos of that though. Sometimes it’s better to put down the camera and enjoy the moment for what it is.
We took a drive out to New Hope, Pennsylvania to visit Rice’s Flea Market. Even though there was a sign claiming they were open, and they technically were open, there were only a few souls there. It is winter after all. Not a problem for me because I planned to take photos anyway. Without further adeu…
