Healthcare Fraud Shield commissioned me to design a trade show materials including a photo shoot portraying a mystic theme. We agreed that a gypsy/fortune teller story would be interesting to explore.
Since the photos will be featured in a direct mail campaign, it was important to use vibrant colors and interesting ways of displaying the information. The lighting setup include a softbox for the overall scene and speed lights for the crystal ball and green gel on the rim light for our model’s hair.
Here is the postcard and flyer I designed that will be distributed to event attendees. Thanks to Stone Mountain Printing in Woodbridge, New Jersey for the sweet print job.
The goal for this shoot was to create surreal shots of my model controlling the waterways of the Watchung Reservation. The setup required a step stool and huge light source and Lew assisting with all of it. We hiked down a ravine and that gave us all a determination to make sure we created magic once we got to our location.
One of my latest projects was once again working with model Kelly to create something I had floating around in my head. We hiked around Watchung Reservation and found the perfect spot. Thanks to Lew Monty for assisting as always. You can see him doing his best to stay out of frame in the before/after shot.
