My first impressions of Chicago as a kid were brought on by cinema and television. Between “The Untouchables” and “Perfect Strangers”, I half believed the visit would include gangsters shooting tommy guns and a sheep herding weirdo from Meepos. None of these things were present though. Chicago is a cleaner and more precisely designed city than, say, New York City.
We also visited the famous Billy Goat Tavern and enjoyed delicious CHEEZBORGERS.
One last photo before class is dismissed. CRAZY ASS RONALD MCDONALD! This maniacal bronze statue was placed in the middle of the sidewalk to terrorize passerby.
Love, love, love… particularly the purple walking bridge.
Thanks, Renee! That city looks great from every angle.
