As the sun began to kiss the horizon in Roosevelt Park we trekked through the park to a few spots I was familiar with from a recent session. Since we were losing sun by the second, I had a speedlite on a stand to help give the “sunset” look. Rim lighting is a trait synonymous with sunset behind a subject. I had an orange gel on the speedlite to give the warm rim light the sun would normally provide. Within minutes it was dark and needed to use a flash. Using a wide beam & warm gel helped give the Furiatos a warm glow against the deep purple of the night sky.
Michelle and Anthony recently celebrated their wedding and wanted a few shots of their rings. Just as this was happening, two ducks were swimming by. Embrace the symbolism in it!
