The time has come for a destination wedding of Kelly Werrlein and Rick Knecht! A guy could get used to this. The last time I was in the Outer Banks (Duck, North Carolina to be specific) was a long time ago. The scenery has changed but it is as beautiful as i remember.
I arrived on a Monday and the wedding wasn’t until Thursday so thus gave me ample time to meet everyone and catch up with people I hadn’t seen in a long time. The evenings were full of ridiculous antics and surprise guests. Plenty of snacks and beverages were every which way.
Highlights included golf karting around town, walking through the marshland, talking with lots of the guests, chasing wild horses and staying up way past my bedtime.
Special thanks to Ben Hitchcock for assisting and snapping some doozies!
