It’s been a busy summer full of models, families, weddings and anything else the photo gods have thrown at me. This is a shoot I did with the Gupta family in beautiful Basking Ridge, NJ. We wrapped up just prior to the sun scorching everthing in sight. My recommendation, whenever possible, is to shoot early morning or late afternoon during the summer. I can shoot in any condition, but I like to keep people from sweating bullets. We succeeded! Thanks to the Guptas for coming out and spending time with me and my camera.
The Lorias have been getting used to their new son Declan and wanted to document his adorableness with a photography session. His parents are big sports fans and they had a little New York Giants jersey for him to wear. I pride myself on not doing (what I consider) ridiculous infant sessions where the baby is posed like a consumer product. I involve the family because the baby didn’t get here via Amazon.com did he?
After we finished up in the den we headed upstairs. Declan’s bedroom is something out of The Jungle Book and was a nice way to wrap up the evening. Here are just a few of my favorites from our time together. Congratulations to this newly expanded Loria family!
The Robinson family kindly gave me a couple hours of their time to shoot family portraits around their home and Rockefeller State Park. They are a very lovely family that makes days like this fly by.
Great news! I am now a B&H Photo Video affiliate. What does that mean? My site met qualifications for web traffic and content. This allows me to bring you advertising for the finest store known to man. If you have never been to B&H in New York City, you are missing out. It’s an amazing place that I can only compare to heaven on earth for photographers, videographers, or anyone that loves gadgets.
